Lutz’s new wine bar officially opened in October 2020. The owners have announced its arrival in the fall of 2019. For the Lutz community, Sommelier Hideaway offers a quiet escape. The bar offers exquisite amenities for wine connoisseurs to explore their passion. If you’re new to the vast world of wine, the wine bar can also serve as a fun classroom to hone your palate.

You will find more than 100 different wines on the Sommelier Hideaway menu. You can enjoy it by the glass or the bottle, and you can even take your favorite labels home from their well-stocked retail section. The menu itself ranges from affordable to refined. Yes, you’ll find the best $30 bottles of wine for sale here, or you can check out the reserve list where bottles are around $180.

This one goes without saying, right? Bern’s Steakhouse and its subsequent dessert room are two of Tampa’s greatest legends. Enjoy an extensive wine selection, some of the best steaks in the Sunshine State, and definitely save room for baked Alaska.

Remember that the expected dress code is semi-formal at this restaurant.

The Haya Hoteldesigned by Alfonso Architects Incorporated, is now open and is one of the most stunning gems in the entire Tampa Bay area.

The restaurant features a sizzling grill and an ever-changing rotation of ceviches. Flor Fina is crowned by the warm glow of the bar’s golden ceiling, ample spaces to relax and an extensive range of cocktails designed to inspire long, rum-soaked conversations.

This restaurant is advertised as offering traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. Be sure to start with the polenta fries. This starter is sprinkled with parmesan and served with a special pomodoro sauce.

The Coccoli Fritto is also a great crowd pleaser. It’s basically a fried ball of bread served with super tasty prosciutto. There’s also a list of different charcuterie boards available if you want to get your fix before you get your fix. I certainly approve of that.

On Swann

On Swann it’s beautiful, pure and simple. Its open kitchen concept offers a multitude of plates to share perfect for a romantic date. French fries and marinated olives are light and savory delights.

Date nights are made to get cheesy, so I highly recommend indulging in the cheese platter which also includes charcuterie, country pâté and duck rilette.

At On Swann, you’re arguably one of the best diners in Tampa Bay. Whether you opt for the rib eye, the scallops or the Portuguese chicken, you’ll be nourished in a way you never thought possible.

420 Kennedy Boulevard West

A beautiful atmosphere, exquisite dishes and just steps from the Tampa Riverwalk, what more could you ask for? Oxford Exchange is of course one of the best brunches in the entire state, but its ambiance and charm extend beyond the morning meal.

Truth be told, it would be an early date. The Oxford Exchange closes at 5:30 p.m. But an early meal gives you the opportunity to enjoy a sunset stroll through downtown Tampa. What’s more romantic than that?

Chef Bryce Bonsack’s handmade pasta menu features Italian dishes inspired by regional Florida ingredients. Bonsack graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After he left, he decided to open a pasta-focused restaurant using the knowledge he gained working in New York. Chef Bonsack then traveled to Italy to learn the realities of Italian cooking.

2425 North Rocky Point Drive

The Rusty Pelican has long been recognized as one of the finest venues in the entire Tampa Bay area. Recently, and in preparation for the summer, SRC refreshed the space with soft renovations throughout. This includes new carpeting in the main dining room – with a blue and white aesthetic that mimics the ocean as well as new flooring throughout the property.

New lighting sets the mood everywhere, including the private event spaces, which are sure to be bustling this holiday season. The concept is already taking reservations for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rusty Pelican has a total of six special event spaces, all displaying bay views. In fact, the combination of breathtaking views and polished, professional, and dedicated service has earned Rusty Pelican numerous accolades, including a “Couples’ Choice” award from wedding thread.

Sal Y Mar

While enjoying 360-degree views of the Tampa, Westshore and St. Petersburg skylines, Sal Y Mar diners can experience a tantalizing collection of tapas, from citrus crab cakes and vegetable bruschetta, more authentic Spanish treats such as Carne Asada Street Tacos and seared scallops with mashed mango, crispy plantain and pico de gallo.

The menu was created by the Executive Chef Stephanie Bisogne and features the freshest possible local ingredients in a surprising assortment of salads and entrees, including filet mignon, seared grouper, charred chipotle chicken and more, plus a small selection of freshly made desserts for end all meals gently.

Timpano Hyde Park

Timpano has been a Tampa staple for nearly 20 years and continues to serve as the community anchor for Hyde Park Village.

Under the culinary direction of Executive Chef Jason Saldutti and Tavistock Restaurant’s Vice President of Catering, Michael Ferraro, Timpano’s fine and sophisticated menu will focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and feature comfortably chic, rustically elegant Italian dishes. and authentic like homemade rigatoni with Calabrian tomatoes and peppers, as well as pappardelle with crispy royal oysters and a black truffle with white miso. Seafood and steak options will predominate with Waygu beef, whole branzino and the return of guest-favorite pan-roasted mussels.

UleleRichard Gonzmart’s Tampa Heights gem and the Columbia Restaurant Groupis one of the most romantic places to dine in America, according to Yelp.

Ulele’s stellar pear and beet salad, addictive okra appetizer, irresistible candied maple bacon ice cream with a cornflake crust, and a host of Florida-inspired entrees are second to none. .

Add in an on-site brewery, extensive wine list, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and you’ve created the perfect restaurant. It combines sophistication and comfort in a way that can add romance and whimsy to any evening.

Plus, Ulele is right at the end of the Tampa Riverwalk in The Heights neighborhood, with a pirate water taxi stop right out front. You can’t beat these views of the Hillsborough River.
